Why triathlon: | Volunteering at Ironman Canada in 2011 catching finishers was the catalyst for lighting the triathlon bug under me. I’ve completed 1 Standard and 5 Sprint distance triathlons, 1 MedioFondo, 4 half marathons and numerous other races. I enjoy racing but thrive off of the training even more — it’s all about the journey and pushing your limits while having fun. |
Favourite Event: | Cultus Lake Triathlon – popular annual Club race with no shortage of friendly competition. |
What’s on your Playlist: | It’s all about the beat! I workout best to music, and also podcasts. |
Best Tip for a New Club Member: | Get out to the Club training; it’s a great way to build outside of your comfort zone, realize your potential and sweat alongside some pretty incredible humans. |
Tri Goal for 2025: | My main focus this year is to hit more bakeries on breathtaking bike routes. Lol. Aiming to stay healthy and continuing to build strength and speed in all three disciplines are on the top of my list. The Valley GranFondo and Cultus Lake Triathlon are planned for 2025. |
