General Info

Our members come from all over the lower mainland, including White Rock, Surrey, Richmond, Langley, Delta and Burnaby. We are a club for men and women and our ages range from 22 to 65 and beyond. Our training tends to be centered in South Surrey with swim sessions at the Grandview Aquatic Centre and track sessions at the South Surrey Athletic Park and in North Surrey at the Holy Cross Regional High School. Our members compete and represent the Club in triathlons and other multisport events throughout British Columbia, Canada and in fact, around the world!

Joining Peninsula Multisport Triathlon Club is a great way to meet other like-minded athletes. We have coached and independently-run training sessions for swimming (pool, lake and ocean), cycling (spin and outdoors), and running (road, trails and track).

Our goal is to welcome every athlete of every level, so we are focused on safety, fun and an inclusive environment for members of all levels to learn, train and excel in the sport. club training

The largest part of a triathlete’s journey is training, and we create fun, energetic and effective training sessions for our members. Coaches focus on technique, endurance, and development in every session. Our training sessions are for members only, however, if you are thinking about joining – we would love to have you join us for a trial session. Contact us to ask how.

Every athlete has different goals and available time in their lives. This means each of us will have slightly different workout plans to accommodate our life and other time commitments. PMC offers several sessions throughout the week for members to join and has several NCCP coaches who can talk with you and make suggestions for a weekly workout plan. If you are looking for a personalized and detailed plan, we can refer you to a professional Triathlon Coach that offers paid programs and planning.

As developing athletes, we all want to train hard – read on to find out what training sessions are scheduled and how to join. Please check the Club Calendar for the specific dates and times each week as the schedule may be modified. Watch the members-only Facebook page as well for last minute changes to the schedule due to weather or facility closures.

For current and up-to-date information about workouts happening right now, check out our Club Calendar or visit our members-only Facebook page for the latest details and updates. The following highlights our current offering of sessions for all three disciplines:

Swim

PMC offers bi-weekly coached pool swims and throughout the warmer months, a weekly session at Sasamat Lake.
